The NCAA season is over for Frank Nazar (Michigan), and Ryan Greene and Drew Commesso (Boston).

Three Chicago Blackhawks' prospects saw their NCAA seasons come to an end on Thursday. Frank Nazar (Michigan), and Ryan Greene and Drew Commesso (Boston) fell in the Frozen Four semifinals at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.

Commesso (2020 second) allowed four goals on 32 shots in a 6-2 loss to top-ranked Minnesota. Greene (2022 second) was 12-of-17 on faceoffs and had no shots on goal.

Commesso had two shutouts with a 2.46 goals-against average and .912 save percentage in 34 games during his junior season. He could be a candidate to sign with the Blackhawks this spring. Greene had 31 points (nine goals, 22 assists) in 38 games as a freshman. He will return to Boston next season.

Nazar (2022 first) had one shot and blocked a shot in Michigan's 5-2 loss to No. 2 Quinnipiac. The forward scored seven points (two goals, five assists) in 13 games during his injury-shortened freshman season. Nazar could return to Michigan next season.
