Driessen: Ajax chief Kroes dreams of Ten Hag return

Dutch pundit Valentin Driessen is convinced Ajax can still rehire Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag.

Nice coach Francesco Farioli is favourite for the job.

But Driessen stated for De Telegraaf: "As long as Farioli has not signed, Ten Hag remains the dream candidate. He (Alex Kroes) clearly admits that.

"He would love to start the new season with that. But Ten Hag has hinted that he will either stay at Manchester United or that he may have another (hot) iron in the fire.

"And then we have to think of Bayern Munich."
